Jon Folsom founded Diversified Fence Builders in 2004 with a simple vision: build a company that treats customers and employees like family while delivering exceptional workmanship on every project.
After leaving a successful corporate career, Jon took a leap of faith to create a business built on hard work, integrity, and a commitment to doing things the right way. What began as a small family operation has grown into one of the region's most trusted fencing companies, serving homeowners and businesses throughout North Carolina. Today, Diversified remains a true family-owned business, with multiple generations working together to continue the values on which the company was founded.
As President, Jon oversees business strategy, long-term planning, marketing, and company growth. His passion is creating an environment where employees can succeed, customers receive outstanding service, and the company continues to make a positive impact in the community.
Hobbies & Fun Facts
Hobbies: Boating, traveling, grilling, investing, scuba diving, farming, and spending time with family.
Fun Fact: My first job was at McDonald's when I was 15 years old, where I learned the value of hard work and customer service.
Favorite DFB Memory: Watching my sons grow up around the business and become part of the team that helps carry our family legacy forward.
